Playing MusicSounds of Sangha, (a four-piece band) also performs once a month.

HeartSong is Sangha’s premiere choir, which usually performs on the 3rd Sunday of each month. The choir is open to all. Rehearsals are on Monday nights at 7pm. Audition information is available at: (714) 596-0900.

Sangha Youth Music Group performs at Sunday services.
Involvement with the teens and pre-teens in the Sunday service music is a new and exciting part of the Sangha experience.

New programs currently under development include:

The Sangha Hallelujah Choir: A new choir that is open to all people, with or without traditional music training. The flavor of the music will have a contemporary sound. Teens and adults are encouraged to join. Rehearsal time is yet to be determined.

The Sangha Bonga Drum Circle: The drum circle is open to all and will feature drum playing, rhythm, and chant. Players will learn note and rest values and some basics in reading. Rehearsal time is to be determined.

The Sangha Bell and Gong Choir: This group will be open to persons who are able to read music. Traditional hand bell playing and more academic drum playing is involved. Rehearsal time is to be determined.

Also there are plans for a music production studio for recording and developing in-house music projects at Sangha.
